Small Print and Booking Conditions
Deposit - Rental. We require a deposit of 30% of the total rental plus the insurance premium (subject to a minimum of £80 per person).
Deposit - Car Hire. We require a deposit of £30 per vehicle if booked separately from your accommodation rental. If booked at the same time as your villa or apartment, we will add the car hire cost to your total invoice.
Balance of your holiday cost. The balance of your holiday cost
is due 10 weeks prior to departure and we reserve the right to cancel your
booking and retain the deposit or levy the appropriate cancellation charges as
specified in the booking conditions, if the balance remains unpaid after that
date.
To ensure a smooth changeover on your arrival and departure days and to maintain a continuity of letting for the owners of our properties, we have certain fixed arrival days. These are shown for each property in the relevant price panel. As you obviously want the villa or apartment cleaned ready for your arrival, we must allow a period for the housekeeping work to take place. We therefore indicate for each property the earliest time you will be able to get in at the beginning of your holiday and the latest time you must vacate at the end of your stay.
In most cases we ask you to pay a key or damage deposit which is added to your invoice and payable when you pay the balance of your holiday cost ten weeks before departure. Our resort manager or representative or in the case of our Country Club and some apartment style properties, the club management will check the villa or apartment on your departure. We will then refund your damage deposit in full on your return if there are no breakages or damage and the key has been returned as specified. The amount of the Key/Damage deposit, where applicable, is shown for each location. In those resorts where Damage/Key deposits are payable locally, a major credit card will be required.
Where a separately metered telephone is available in a private villa or apartment and you wish to use it, we will collect the required telephone deposit with your final balance as shown in the price panels and information. We will refund the balance of the telephone deposit along with your damage deposit after the meter reading has been taken and advised to us. Where no telephone meter is available, we rely upon the telephone company accounts to apportion your costs. Very often itemised billing is not available to the subscriber and telephone accounts may take up to two months to be received. We reserve the right to deduct your telephone charges from your damage deposit, if the telephone deposit is insufficient to meet the cost of the units used. If that is insufficient we shall invoice you for the difference which you agree to meet by return of post as part of our booking conditions.
If you are expecting guests during your stay who will sleep in the villa, you must ensure that they are named on the booking form and that you do not exceed the maximum permitted number of occupants (see relevant price panels). If we are involved in additional housekeeping routines outside those advertised, (i.e., additional changes of linen) we reserve the right to levy such charges as may be reasonable and deduct these from your Key/Damage deposit.
Cots, High Chairs and Extra Beds
These are available on request and should be signified on your booking form. Extra beds are subject to space being available in your chosen property (see Extra Guests). All charges are payable locally upon arrival in local currency unless specified in the price panel. You should therefore ensure that you carry sufficient local currency to meet the required payment, details of which will be notified to you.
Travel Documents and Vouchers.
Provided we have received your balance on or before the due date we will dispatch your Travel Information Pack and Property Rental Vouchers and car hire vouchers two weeks prior to your departure date.
