We have a range of villas in the Quinta do Lago area and these are all rented direct with the owner.  Quinta do Lago is an extremely well presented area, very up-market and exclusive with properties, shops and restaurants to match its image.  Rental properties in this area are never cheap and justifiably so, remember, you get what you pay for. There are few more stylish areas of Europe than this and people watching from the pavement cafes in the Bougainvillea Plaza can reveal some surprising "locals", film stars, celebrities, footballers from all over Europe; this is a wealthy area and if you want some of that to rub off on you when on holiday, then Quinta do Lago is the place for you.  However, we consider that a hire car is vital here, so please do not ask for a villa within walking distance of the beach and shops and restaurants as realistically, it can't be done.
