Villas d'Agua - apartments for rent in Olhos d'Agua, Algarve, Portugal

We are in our fifth season with these town houses at Villas d'Agua resort. When we first saw this photograph we thought it was a nice trick shot. Until we arrived there.

Located on the cliff top and with views straight out to sea the location of these rental units is one of the best we have seen in the Algarve. The surrounding area is slowly coming to life and shops and restaurants are appearing nearby but this area remains largely unspoiled.

The number of clients returning after their holiday here last year suggests that this resort "does what it says on the tin".

The resort has just 52 townhouses of either one or two bedrooms; the two bedroom units have two bathrooms, one en-suite. All are finished and furnished to a very high standard and are effectively new having only been completed late in 2003. Each apartment has air-conditioning for summer cooling or winter heating, together with satellite television, telephone and a safe. Kitchens include a dish washer, full electric hob and oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, blender, iron, ironing board and as a bonus, a washing machine in every apartment. Naturally there is six days a week maid service, towels are changed twice a week and bed-linen is changed weekly.

Villas d'Agua is in Torre de Medronheira, Olhos d'Agua about 4 kilometres from Albufeira and about half an hour's drive from Faro airport.

Set in landscaped gardens, the properties all look onto the pool area and have sea views.

Plenty of space on the pool terrace, which also has a pool-side bar. And as a bonus, pool towels are included free of charge in the rates, a helpful saving of space and weight in your luggage.

Children are not forgotten either, with a separate play area for them with swings, slide, climbing frame etc., and for the older children a snooker table and table tennis.

And reception can arrange for baby sitters so that you can have a holiday too!

Rates also include 6 days a week maid service (except Sunday), twice weekly changes of towels, weekly change of bed linen, air-conditioning (cooling and heating), electricity, water, VAT, local taxes etc.

Free pool towel, free use of the gym, free safe in each apartment, free cot, for all AMS-Travel guests.

Prices are per property, not per person, per week or per night. Minimum stay is 3 days and rates are calculated on a daily basis to create different holiday durations, so you do not have to come for 7 days. If your chosen holiday period falls into two seasons, then the price is calculated pro rata on a daily basis. The price is for accommodation only and does not include travel costs. Check in day can be any day of the week, subject only to availability. When planning flights please bear in mind that check in time is normally 17.00 hours and check out is normally by 10.00 hours.
